I wonder why we have a refried GT Academy GT-R time trial event (with SRF on

) and japanese people have had a brand new FT-86 GRAND PRIX special event with SRF off.

It's like Final Fantasy 1 all over again. The guys in Japan think Americans are stupid, so they downgrade their games for western civilization. I don't blame them for getting that impression though...

The prize in Japan is localized and seems like a real world one going by translations. GT Academy was available in EU and US hence us getting the GT-R event which is still good fun. Makes a change with SRF on and provides a different challenge and is probably as technically hard if not harder than with it off as commitment through corners increases especially the high speed chicane in T4.
