Has any one done any testing of how the fuel level changes the performace of the car (if it does at all)
I would be intrested in hearing other peoples finds, cus I havent got round to doing any myself dew to the amount of assignments i'm having to do laterly.

In our FormulaGT races we notice between a 1-2 second drop in laptimes (depending on length of track) when the fuel gets low. We have no solid data but I guess times fall gradually as the fuel is burnt off.

Fuel load affects times quite a bit. I used to win pole every time in a series because the qualifying period was an hour, I just kept running laps until the fuel load was empty then got off one as fast as I could. Everybody else would make their runs on a partially reduced but heavier tank.

I would say at Suzuka fuel load will make 2 seconds a lap. At Cape Ring (full course) It was making about 2.3 secs from full to empty.

Every car in GT5 only holds 100 liters. Its rather sad. :( Fuel load would have been a brilliant additive in one of the updates. Maybe there's some kind of wacky computer thing keeping PD from doing it.
