Fuel/Tire consumption breakdown

In order to make interesting custom races i was thinking about making a thread on how fuel/tire consumption affects cars (and various compounds, comfort included, speed of consumption etc)
First of all, has anyone already thought about this?
I was thinking about collecting data with different car/tire combinations
