Full control course maker / track editor (with ranking system)

I dream since GT2 of a track editor, which allows to draw a track layout exactly like I want it. The course maker in GT5 was more like a fake, or it best as a "track generator". It was not possibile to bring the ideas of the designer to a demanded track.

V-Rally 2, ModNation Racers are the titles which have editors I have in mind. These technique combined with GT would be awesome.

Also, it would be neccesary to have the possibility to vote and rank each custom track which is offered online to download. It would prefent, to have to many bad quality tracks, and people get frustrated by looking for a good new custom track. Like, 1,200 people give 4,5 stars (or whatever) for a track, instead of 2 guys rank a track with 5 stars.

I love this, and I hope the track editor they're implementing soon would be just like this. But their timing is just awful and they devote too much time in the wrong things. Like the moon buggy missions, Though it was fun, it was completely UNNECESSARY!. And I bet they put a lot of time into that when they should've been working on something more important.
 
PD was already hinting towards this and it's coming in a future update. It was blogged about on gtplanet!
 
Not correctly, they just give the hint for a GPS-Data based app on your smartphone, to recreate real terrain data. I'm speaking of a freehand and free track editor! Pretty different.

Yeah, it's the buggy missions that should of come in an update, not the course creator which deserves to be on the disc from the beginning.

Many people hate the moon buggy missions. I consider this as a nice and funny thing, but I wouldnt need more of it. With a real Track Editor you have the freedom to create what ever you want to !
 
This would be awesome. I really want to recreate then slightly alter a track that they race Pedal Cars on in my town and race real cars around it. There are also other tracks which would be awesome to create :)
 
Besides a proper track creator PD also needs to implement a good way to share and search other player's tracks online, even if they're not in my friend's list.
 
And PD should enable full control of course maker so we can do it several tracks from the real countries.
