Am i the only that doesn't even bother with them. It seems pretty expensive, and the if you do buy one, it only makes the car accel faster. Plus it has a pretty bad side effect, decreases your maxium speed!!! Just wanted to see other peoples opinions on this. :)

You can set the racing tranmission to get a higher top end speed with lower accel or for faster accel and lower top end speed. It is worth buying because you are going to need that extra speed for all the races after beginner

i only do it if i know i will keep it when i am 100% complete . i will be getting rid of the less desirables until then they are still in the garage :D

Magic069 the full racin transmission is worth all the money, write down the setting before adjusting the gears, and with a bit of patience you too will be amazed of the new top speed + acceleration of your car..

You won´t get the escudo over 1000mph without messing with the gears..

Thats true. If You move the Auto Gear Setting all the way to the right(to the highest level) you will get a higher top speed. If you move it to the left you will get a faster accelaration.

I always get these first with my full-racing suspension.

Being able to tweek the gears, torque, and suspension - I can squeeze every last drop of HP out of it before I even think about HP mods (with exception to the chip). I get more enjoyment out of racing this way. :D

If you increase your hp without changing your ratio, that won't work. So if you don't increase your hp's then you got no problems. :)

Alright guys.... I have seen the light.... I have always been scared or to lazy to mess with the settings in GT3 (didn't want to mess anything up) Well I took your advice, and its amazing how many cars are going over 200mph now  ... Excuse my lack of knowledge
