I installed the fully adjustable suspension upgrade onto my MG TF160, expecting the car to handle uncontrollably when taking it for a test drive, therefore understanding what I need to tune for the suspension. Turns out the MG car handles extraordinaly well without touching the suspension settings, setting a blazing record around Ascari on it's second lap. It has a tendency to oversteer due to it's loose rear end, but amazingly the car wouldn't slide too wide when acclerating, and the MG was pretty much ready to compete in races without any necessary modifications to other tuning parts.
After checking the car settings, I discover that the MG was already lowered to a degree where the front of the car is lower than the rear by default. I suspect other aspects of suspension settings were pre-tuned already. I don't know how that came to be, but I thought maybe KW Suspension did more than just provide a new suspension physics in the game, but also fine tune the default settings of every single car that had the adjustable suspension recently installed.
I'm not an expert with tuning as I only have an amateur level of experience after GT5, but I felt this supposed pre-tuning by KW Suspension would discourage me and others new to tuning from experimenting to find the desired driving settings for themselves, as they already have a fixed set up by default. I'd like to slam the car low just for appearance itself, but I also attempt to counter the loss of turning by streghtening the suspensions. Now I feel like I don't need to tune anymore, as leading suspension experts from Germany did it all for me.
