Is there a list of cars that can be fully tuned and modded.

I'm talking all the weight reduction including carbon bonnet. Engine increases, turbos stage 3 including supercharger, aerodynamics etc.

I know the Audi R8 5.2 can as a example.

Cheers

I don't think you'll ever see a car that has both Turbo Upgrades & the Supercharger in GT5, because superchargers are made for naturally aspirated engines, while turbochargers are for internal combustion engines.

Nearly all naturally aspirated engines are internal combustion engines as well, the two variations aren't mutually exclusive. Internal combustion implies that combustion takes place within a dedicated "combustion chamber" while natural aspiration (or normal aspiration as some call it) implies that the engine relies on atmospheric pressure to provide the engine with enough air to mix with fuel for combustion. As for nearly all naturaly aspirated engines being internal combustion, the obvious exception would be some of the most powerful engines built...ROCKETS!!! Oh and some of the Miatas in the game have both a turbocharging and a supercharging option.

As for the original topic, I don't believe there is such a list and I'm pretty sure there doesn't need to be one, because only Premium cars can be included in this group (only they can have carbon fiber hoods) and they are so easily obtained that the effort involved in creating said list wouldn't be worth the gain.

Simple answer there is no list, Partially due to the fact PD left alot of real world tuning elements out of GT5, For example.

Carbon Boot
Brake upgrades
Twin Charging (Turbocharger and Supercharger)
Nitrous Oxide
Boreing and Stroking
Cam Shaft etc
Hybrid Turbos
Antilag Systems

I could go on and on at how PD have pretty much failed in the tuning department.

Nope. There are some in the game that can accept both. I know of the Z34 and the NA MX-5.

I might be wrong but I think the RX-8 premium can have either as well. OT, that car is very tuneable and runs ludicrously well on sport softs.

As for the OP, I think it's safe to say that most premiums that aren't race cars, tuner cars or otherwise already very highly strung (like the Zonda R, which is technically not a race nor tuner car) can have most parts fitted. The carbon bonnets and SC are the parts I see blanked out most often, I don't know what complex formula PD uses to decide which cars can have which type of forced induction (if any at all, quite why the XJ13 can be turbocharged but the 458 Italia can't is beyond me) but I imagine it's something like a man showing Kazunori pictures of each car in the game and he sits back in his chair with a cigar going 'Turbo... Supercharger... Turbo... NA... Dunno...' or something to that effect.

As for carbon bonnets, it seems like just about any premium that isn't covered in stickers, made of carbon fibre or a combination of the two. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I can't remember them right now.

Short answer: I don't know about the existence of such a list.

Oh. Thank you for the confirm.

I'll have to troll through the list of my tuned cars but certainly some can be Turbo or Super charged.

its kinda annoying how they had a few of these in gt4 but removed in gt5 :grumpy:
