Ok so i have been reading alot of posts about having a fully tuned car. Now to me that means that some one has taking the time to tune the car on a track? when someone asks for a fully tuned car i am going to give them a tuned car not a car with all the parts that you can buy. Am i right or wrong?

All the parts and racing soft tires seem to be the "fully tuned" in these forums.

i normally go with a "sports" tune or i take a car out stock & see what it needs ie. torque, acceleration, gear box, handling, ect... i then add each piece 1 by 1 till the car feels just right.... i do this by taking a car through all the seires beginner-expert... i take it through every event that it can & add parts only when needed

I add everything I can to the car when I buy it and then if it's a car I'm going to race with myself then I tune it in my lounge with damage, tire wear on etc.

Some people on this forum are mistaking "tuned" for "modded."

A tune is when you adjust the settings of the mod. But, I'd say you're correct.

To me a fully modded car means simply that all of the upgrades in regards to parts are on the car installed. A fully tuned car is one that has been adjusted as per the car setup to maximize said cars performance on a given course.
