I got kicked from a room I was in last night ... Why I hear you ask? Was it because I was ramming people? Was it because I was pushing people off of the track? Oh! I know, I must have been driving the wrong way around the track!

No, I got kicked because I asked the host if he would turn the driving aids off! (or at least SRF) :P I laughed at this, I just thought how stupid :P I personally was enjoying it because even though I didn't win a race, I was still beating other people using the same cars who had SRF on, ABS on, TC on etc. whilst I was running with nothing on at all (not even ABS)

Just found it really funny & shows how soft some people online are!

Super Hero !! I surpose you do your fastest times with ALL aids off ??

I hate when people join rooms and start asking to change regulations, horse power ect ect.

Everybody is entitled to race how they like and with aids on or off.
If you don't like the rules make your own room.

Oh ffs, I'm getting fed up of people on here ... Like I said, I was enjoying racing in that room, I just asked for at least SRF to be switched off as I felt that would of been interesting to see how the races would have unfolded ... Why does everyone have to reply and be a complete t****r!

I think its much more annoying, when You´re a host in a
room, named-> "Private, Join=Kick", having Qualify session
in a Championship and there comes unwanted people in, so You have to sit in Lounge kicking unregistered players while
others can drive a good quali time.

BTW. Why didn´t You leave the Room if the Rules & Regulations didn´t suit You? Please, try Yourself be a
host sometime.👍

I remember getting kicked by the host, just because I was in the lead in a race :/

Online gets worse these days.

It IS frustrating to be in a room with who you assume to be a bunch of clean respectful racers (and they are) and you're killing the rest of the field save for one guy who is killing you twice as much. Then the race is over and you find out that all those aids weren't disabled (like you might expect in a room full of good racers), and of course the guy who beat you did it because the Easy Button (SRF) saved him from running off track the entire race while he drove like a tool.

Yea, and it's funny that they enter in a room that have aids enabled, or SRF in the case, and they ask to turn it off, when there is the option to search for rooms with SRF off, i think it's just a way to try to show off. I like to drive with SRF on, and that's how i'm used to. Why change? Because they want to?

Now where did all this negativity come from guys?

I find it a bit funny, yes, you could have entered a room with SRF prohibited in first place, but when you get kicked for asking -... :D I would, as a host, completely ignore the question. If you are not satisfied with my rules, leave, my thought would be, not I better kick this guy before a mutiny starts, except the fact that I am the host and cannot get kicked.

I always join rooms I come across with names like this. On a public server ANYONE can join.

It's a good job there are also private servers for those who want to have a private race.

What's that?

There's not!?

Well damn. I guess the only thing to do then would be to start a public lobby with a descriptive title so that others know not to join then...

Got kicked out twice while leading a race...and one time after asking to put penalties for grass cutters in a room called ( serious, clean racers only) after losing a race when some dumb driver cut the last curve in Trial Mountain.

There are issues with lounges. You have to have everyone on your friend list, sometimes a problem if you have a lot of people on there already. Sometimes people just can't connect to a lounge, but they CAN connect to a public room. Sometimes the physics decides it's going to be different to what you normally play with. There's all sorts of things.

So yes, there are "private" rooms. And they're about ten times more complicated than they should be, and even then they don't work as advertised much of the time.

Now you know why there are people making "private" rooms in the public section. Can you now accept that you're not wanted in them and go play somewhere else? Or are you going to continue this childish "it's a free world, I'll play wherever I want!" thing?

I don't play in open lobbies, so don't ask me, haven't tried the lounge-connection problem before though...

I think you need to cool down,he/she just said there ARE private rooms and they DO EXIST and many people DO USE IT,mostly without problem.He/She DID NOT say that he/she was going to join your room wreaking chaos,so learn to read. =.=

And in any case,MANY people have used lounges before without too much problem.Even with many people it is still OK and my internet connection is far from the best mind you.

I was doing set-up test the other day for GT500 car, opened a room for two "Private Test". After a while a guy enters the room, put himself in an Red Bull X1, and write 20 times ... Race, Race, Race ..... So funny. Made me laugh.

The reason why testing in an public lobby is that the grip level is different in private vs. public.
