LANGUAGE WARNING!

I can't be the only one to think Gunnery Sergeant Hartman of Full Metal Jacket is god damn funny?

This is one of many favorites:

EDIT: I guess at least te FMJ scene will be removed by a mod because of the language..

It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World

One of MANY funny scenes. Note: You may have to click on the link to view the video. It's worth it.

Warning!: Improper use of an Englishman. ( "What, don't you like the English?")

Forrest Gump. Perhaps one of the greatest movies ever made? It's the greatest I have seen anyway, but that's my opinion.

Poor quality, but the only one I could find.

This is probably one of the most artistic, yet still accessible, scenes in cinema history. And the movie is the best teen comedy of all time by leaps and bounds. And the best part of this scene? Not a single word is spoken, yet Cameron's subtle gestures at the end convey more emotion than one could possibly imagine.

It must be wrong to love that movie so much. Of course, any Van Damme movie elicits similar responses from me for some reason.

Oh, and completely unrelated:

Cool Hand Luke - If you haven't seen this movie, do so now.

Fistful of Dollars - Classic Clint western.

Dirty Harry

I actually have that on VCD... Ferris Bueller's Day Off was one of the best "teen" movies of its time... in fact, compared to some of the crap that's on the screens nowadays, it probably doesn't even deserve that tag.

Of course, we all know the real star of that movie...

You Can't Take It With You

Amazing scene that features something important for today's energy crisis (1:22 minute mark). A scene best summed up by the person who posted it.

"A great scene for the movie, You Can't Take it With You. In which Jimmy and Jean talk about The Politics of Fear, Solar Power, the secret to happiness, and falling in love. All in the space of five minutes with no cuts or edits. They just don't make 'em like this anymore"

I almost posted a clip from Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. I really wish James Stewart would have been around this era, then again maybe he would have been ruined by it. Pure class all the way.
