I realise this has nothing to do with GT3, but just some funny stuff I wanted to share.

Sign seen on the freeway last week - Seatbelts save lives. Ok, If I'm ever going to get shot by someone, I'm gonna put on my seatbelt

and

How come people say I'll be back later - it's not like you can be back before

anymore stupid thoughts you've had about life?

Yes, I'm thinking why the hell you started this thread. It has nothing to do with GT3.

Torte Melange

6 ounces phyllo dough
2 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
1 pound deli sliced cooked ham
2 (10-ounce) packages frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained and squeezed dry
1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
4 leeks, sliced
3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
2 red bell peppers, seeded and sliced
4 ounces phyllo dough
1 large egg
1 teaspoon water

1. Preheat oven to 400*F.
2. Spread 6 ounces phyllo dough in a 10-inch springform pan coated with vegetable cooking spray. Press into the pan so the sides and bottom are covered with a 1/4-inch overhang. Sprinkle the bottom with dry bread crumbs. Alternately layer sliced ham, frozen chopped spinach, sliced Swiss cheese, sliced leeks, dry bread crumbs, and sliced red bell peppers. Spread the remaining 4 ounces phyllo dough on top, folding the edges under to seal. Brush the top with egg mixed in water.
3. Bake for 30 minutes. Cover loosely with aluminum foil and continue baking until brown, about 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Makes 10 servings.

Could you use GREEN bell peppers, instead of the RED kind? I like the green ones better.

You could easily substitute sweet green bell peppers. Red bells are simply vine-ripened green bell peppers; because they’ve ripened longer, they’re very sweet. There are also yellow, orange, purple and brown bell peppers. Pick whichever ones you want and add some color!

Great! I've got the BBQ ready to fire roast a couple of green chilies now, and I already have some baby swiss in the fridge, but I have to go to the store for the leeks, ham and dough though. Sounds delicious!

this is pure nonsense. of course you'll be back later because it's impossible to be back as you leave or before... what were you doing when you saw the seatbelt sign? oh that's right you were driving in a car. so there's a seatbelt right there that the sign reminds you to put on.

Say, is it safe to take the infared light from the bottom of the mouse and shine it in your eyes??

Nick:banghead:

I don't like the "Now wash your hands" sign on the inside of the door at men's toilets. Unless someone is holding the door open for me, I'm stuck there for a while.

Remove bodily waste.
Wash hands.
Go to leave - sign says "Now Wash Your Hands"
Wash hands.

Wash hands.

(and so on)

I hate the signs on escalators that say "children and animals must be carried".

I usually spend ages trying to find one adn then their mother/owner gets all upset. Bloody signs! Wot are they like?

There's a famous sign in the UK which states:

"If this sign is underwater, then the road has flooded"

"My cat is pink" - Ralph Wiggum

Aahhhh, good old Ralphie Boy. Here are some more notable quotes from our dear boy.

"I bent my wookie"

"My cat's breath smells like cat food."

"And the Dr. said, I wouldn't have so many nosebleeds if I just kept my finger out of there."

"Ah sleep! That's where I'm a Viking!"

"And that's the tree stump where the Leprechaun lives. He tells me to burn things."

God bless you Ralph Wiggum.

Wow, this still isn't closed.

Have you seen the part where som of the kids and Skinner gets trapped in the school because of a snowstorm?

Ralph's reaction to when Skinner says "Stand down" is the best "Ralph" I've ever seen.

Ok, like some people are so serious about posting, god get over it. If you don't like a thread, then don't read it.

The reason I started this thread was because there is more to life than just playing GT3, like cruising down the freeway in a REAL CAR and reading stupid signs on the side of the road.

It has nothing to do with GT3, but it is about cars and other funny stuff, not all threads in the GT3 section are about GT3 if you haven't noticed.

It's all just a bit of FUN!!! Get a sense of humour already!!! Obviously some people take GT3 way too seriously and have lost their sense of humour as well as all concept of life outside of their living room playing GT3.

OMFG! How could I forget the most favorite Ralph Wiggum saying ever? Here it is now.

"It tastes like burning!"
