I know many on here have praised the Furai Concept. I just won it and my question is.......should I "mess" with it by trying to tune it? Or, is the superiority of this car best seen in stock form? I know it is only like 475hp but it also only weighs 6xx kg.....so it's light. I'm also kind of wondering the same thing about my Stealth Line Gamestop McLaren......should I mess with such a well balanced car?

what events is it useful for?i havnt touched mine yet

My mangy old Furai with 1,000,000 in damage absolutely crushed Like the Wind at both Indy and Daytona in the first complete try. It's crazy to spend an additional penny when you can use the Furai for free as a prize car.

Here's my setup:

Ride Height-------------0 / 0
Springs-----------------13.0 (F) / 11.0 (R)
Dampers (Ext'n)-------7 (F) / 4 (R)
Dampers (comp)-------7 (F) / 4 (R)
Anti-Roll Bars-----------4 / 2
Camber------------------1.8 (F) / 1.2 (R)
Toe-----------------------0.00 (F) / 0.60 (R)
LSD----------------------15/50/25
Brakes-------------------6/3
Downforce---------------Maximum F & R

Speed/gears
Indy...........................236
Daytona......................224

TCS
Indy...........................0
Daytona......................7

Tires
Indy............................SS
Daytona.......................RS

At Indy, keep your foot down all the way: never lift.
Daytona, follow the line and don't make too many mistakes.

I actually slid off track twice at Daytona and still won the race. The Furai is dominant in the infield, easily outbraking the AI cars by 3-4 lengths.

You have the Ride hight to low ,,at Zero your gonna bottom it out resulting in loss of speed ....Put the Ride height at least 2.0 in the front and 2.0 in the Back

I think Zero is default /stock, because it can be adjusted into negative value.

I used Tharain's tuning with a maxed out modifications and easily got consistent sub-6:25 lap times on the 'Ring (can't remember exactly what the times were). Really fun, FAST, grippy, and easy to drive car that you can use to glide around in on any of your favourite tracks...in addition to the fact that with HP upgrades, it can be useful in beating some upper-level races as mentioned above. I think a tuning is definitely worth it...for me, it's easily one my favourite cars in the game.

I kept the beast mostly stock, added some racing soft tires and changed the camber to F 1.5/R 3.0. Easily one of my favorite car in the game.

Check the credentials before you correct someone. He knows what he's talking about.
