hello, today i was just looking around the Gran Turismo website and found out some very interesting new updates that is going to be implemented hopefully very soon.



B-Spec (Returning form GT5 and in my opinion it was awesome)

Course Maker ( Also returning form GT5 and also awesome)

Mobile features ( I quote from the website " online community features can be accessed through the iOS Safari and standard Android browsers. In addition, a future update will provide linked features through a specialised mobile device app."

If I'm not wrong it wasn't presented like that.
Last time I visited PD website was 1 or 2 months ago and the page wasn't like that.
Or maybe I'm wrong.
 
I didnt like B-Spec, but why did PD remove it in GT6? Course Maker (GT5 style, not GPS) & Photo Travel locations too...

The page has been on website since early this year, and they just added some new products to it.

Why?

Because they want to make a more ambitious B-SPEC and Course Maker and not just a copy and paste

It hasn't changed (apart from the added features being moved from that part of the webpage to the appropriate place) in TEN MONTHS.

Actually, it's been there since around launch. Which doesn't make it any better, to be honest.
 
I don't care about neither of those. I just want a well organized and simple online mode with matchmaking and track rotation. Just like Forza's.

But GT6 released about 10 months ago and still...
I think they could put those in the game and in the future, upgrade them with better things. at least GT5 Course Maker should be in GT6. it wasnt related to GPS Course Maker.

B-Spec with current AI... with current mechanical dammage...
Course Maker, if they release it, I'm pretty sure 90% of people will be disappointed. A lot of frustration will come from this thing...

PS3 is 7 years old. GT7 should be their only priority right now IMO.
 
I "want" both of them. But I don't "need" them. But seeing as pd isn't going to improve the stuff that really matters until gt7, II don't see why we can't have these little extra goodies.
 
I'd prefer PD releasing the announced classic tracks and constant DLC.

I used to share that opinion, though not anymore. We said the same about GT5 (2010), now in GT6 (2013-2014) and will continue with GT7 (2015-2016), because it'll be the first game in a new console, which means limitations.

B-Spec will not be the B-Spec that was in GT5, It would be more like what was in GT4 which was much better. In other words in GT5 it was a totally separate thing with its own events. In GT4 it was tied into A-Spec so you could have Bob drive the A-Spec races and on the longer races you could switch drivers if you wanted. So you could drive for a while then let Bob drive for a while then you could drive some more if you wanted. This is the way it was mentioned for GT6 and is much better as it is totally optional and can be used in A-Spec races.

The course maker also was stated to be much different from what was in GT5

So really neither of these are returning from GT5. If they were then they would have been in the game a long time ago, either at launch or in an early update. They are both different and in the case of the course maker completely new.

Of course I want both and the GPS editor and the community features as well as full leaderboards and more options for setting up online races.

B-Spec would be at the bottom of my want list at this point in time. Early on it would have been nice to have so as to make it easier to get credits while watching tv or something but most of us don't need that now.
