Fwd 1\4mile Drag tip's ?

I've been trying to drag in the honda rooms that have been popping up but im just getting hammered out there.

I think i can figure out the gearing but the launch is Killing me~(although i'm more then open to gearing advice :) )

So... can anyone give me any advice on how to make a fwd ¨hook up¨ in the 1\4 mile? Because as it stands the race is usally over for me before i shift out of 1st...

I just wanna be able to have some fun,Theres alot of fwd drag rooms popping up and its kinda growing on me LoL

But its kinda discouraging seeing my celica just get walked by pretty much everything, And my del sol is no better :ouch: (I've been told its too high mileage for draging? 51k )

You have to add weight to the car and get a quick shift into second gear in order to hook. Come out between 10 mph to 35mph out of first gear and between 50 mph to 60 mph out of second gear depending on the car. Even though gt5 made fwd run like crap there still fun to tune and drive. In my opinion if you can tune a fwd to run decent you shouldnt have a problem tunning at all
