G 27 Wheel Alignment

I'm having more and more trouble with my G27 wheel staying aligned. After only 1 or 2 races what should be 12:00 on the wheel is now 1:00. I can unplug the USB connector to the PS3 and let re-calibrate, but then it goes out after another 1 or 2 races again. Aside from replacing the wheel, is there a viable fix or work around? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
 
I have the same problem, only fix is to unplug it and let it recalibrate. Very annoying, it's been happening more and more recently... i've run out of warranty :(
 
Try turning the wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right. I've had that happen to me before and I fixed it like that.
 
My wheel has always stopped a little to the right (1) but it doesn't affect the gameplay. There is really no tension between 11 and 1 during calibration...so it just whizzes past 12....I've never thought twice about it since it's done it from day 1

Mine does the same thing, after calibration its at 12:30, but fine during racing.
