Ok guys, its been a month since my wheel broke down.. brake pedal is pressing her self and gas pedal cant press to max, its flickering at the top.. like i said its been a month whitout playing gt5 and slowely im loosing my mind.. not just my mind, im quite desoriented lately whit acasionaly nervous breakdowns..

My question is, can these pedals been replaced, is anyone have the same problem, how much are the pedals, can somebody help me please..?

My brake pedal sticks on occasion; I sprayed graphite lube in and no longer sticky (Only problem I have experienced so far). I also vaccum it once in a while

Yeah I remember talking to the designer of the G25 before it was released years ago on racesimcentral forums and he said that he purposely used common POTS so that if they went bad you could replace them. He also confirmed when asked that Logitech does not sell replacement parts.. it isn't part of their business model.

I know there are webpages out there that tell what kind of potentiometer you have to buy, and some websites sell them too. I can't remember the name of any of these sites. Google is your friend.

I have had the same problem meany times and I have never had to replace my pots.
There are a few of things that can cause pedal spiking.

Obviously dirt and dust etc is the main cause and at first a quick go over with a vacuum will do the job, But after time I have found this just does not cut it especially if you have the pedals inside the case.
So when that happens I take out the pots and strip them and give them a good thorough cleaning.
Lose connectors on the pots can cause pedal spiking, as the pedals move the connectors jiggle about and cause a mixed signal to the game.
And also a lose pot its self can cause the pedal to spike.

I have not long ago made a video I have yet to upload on how to strip and clean the pedal pots down.
I did it for an online buddy I could post it up for you if you like.

I had this problem with my DFP. I wish I could tell you exactly how I fixed it, but I just took the pedals apart, played with the pots a bit and after a lot of effort (literally just sitting there twiddling them to see what they did to GT5P) they were fine again. Maybe it was that they weren't sitting in their mounts properly, sorry, not sure. Once I had a dead moth sitting alongside that little, er, nipple that keeps them seated which was preventing me from being able to open the throttle all the way.

Hi guys, sorry for not replaying, find on net that pots can be cleaned whit spray, i did it and it works fine..
