g25 compatible with gt 4???

does everything work with the g25 on gt4. i bought the g25 for gt5 but dont have any games to try out the clutch and six speed shifter with. i want to do the mod to stiffen the shifter before gt5 prologue is released. i use to have gt4 but sold it and i dont want to buy it again if it is not compatible with the shifter in the h pattern mode. i would like to try the clutch but will settle for just the shifter working on a game for now.
