Hi guys, have looked for an answer to this but cant seem to find one.

Finally got my first decent wheel for crimbo a G25 after some shockers in the past.
After some advice on settings for FFB, power assist on or off, wheel mode am,pro or sim plus sensitivity setting.

Have tried a few different ways so far but to no avail, just cant seem to find a smooth setting that does'nt have the wheel dancing all over the place.
To the point where i'm still using the DS3 to race online.

The wheel is second hand but is in excellent condition, with original box and everything.can tell it has been well looked after.

Any hints or advice on something i'm missing would be great.

Many many thanks in advance.:):sly::dopey:

I think you should test out the FFB settings to see what you like. Start at 5 FFB strength and work your way up. I use 7 as it is not to tough not too weak and test the power assist see if it does anything.

Also I don't think am, pro and sim work on the G25, 27 as the pictures on the FFB settings suggests that the old wheels support it. The wheel isn't smooth and it is supposed to "dance" around when you lose control. BUT don't be afraid to grab really tightly to the wheel. It can handle it.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for that will give it a go, can the set up of the car have an effect on how the wheel feels?.

cars with stiffer suspension make the wheel react a bit more when you kit a kerb, i think.

grab the wheel with both hands, you need to put our back into it. once you get used to it you'll be happy with the feeling you get back through the wheel. it's a good representation of what a real cars steering wheel does when you're driving hard on track.

a two or three hour session will probably make your arms and shoulders stiff, it's highly interactive.

Cheers for the reply guys:)👍, i think some of it is down to having used a DS3 for so long.
Will have a long session this weekend to try out various settings etc.
