G25 in stock, anyone?

Looking for a G25, but everywhere seems out of stock

I did have a G27 on order with Play, but they just cancelled on me

As far as I know they are no longer making G25's, the only place you'll get one now is Ebay (and the prices seem to be £180+).

I know play.com have the G27 for £229.99 although there was a 5 week waiting list. Amazon prices are currently £300+. You can pick up a G27 on Ebay for under £300 delivered.

I'm also on the lookout for a wheel and I'm probably going to go with the DFPGT as they Argos and Game both have it for sale at £79.99.

Alternatively you can hold on until after Christmas when hopefully G27 stock will be back to normal levels and the price may drop.

Direct from the Logitech website is £249, but alas they are also out of stock.

I think you could actually make some serious money if you buy up 20 or 30 top end wheels a few months before a GT release date and wack em on ebay unused after release. I remember the same problem with GT4 back when it came out and I wanted a wheel. I've seen used G25s and G27s going for over £300 on ebay the last week, and I saw a GT3 RS V2 go for over £500!

I'll have to remember it for the next GT game!

Saw some go for more than retail on ebay It is strange but some people myself included do not like the g27 wheel but like the G25 better the modders like the g25 too.

I was going to get one, but they were so expensive I bought a DFGT to hold until the spring when I hope the prices come down.
