Ok guys, I've got an issue with my G25.
The clutch pedal and shifter in H-pattern mode does not work. But when I switch the shifter mode to sequential (up-down), it works fine. Any ideas? Everything else is working fine. It was also working fine earlier this morning.

I am yet to open up the shifter mechanism, but am hoping someone might be able to shed some light on what I might be looking for when I open it up.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

In what game is it not working?
I've noticed that my TH8 isn't working in some cars in GT6. Actually in cars that don't have an H pattern shifter.
This is only been recent since the last update, so I think in my case its the game not the shifter

When you switch shifter modes, does the sequential light to out in h mode and go back on in sequential mode as it should?

this is the same with my g27 the clutch and stick doesnt work on some cars so i have to use the paddle shifters i think its the game though.

If the car you are using does not have a clutch or H shifter, then the G25/G27 can't use the clutch or H shifter either.

i was in a integra dc2 and my clutch and h shifter didnt work i had to use my pad shifters

Thanks for the replies guys, but Carson79 is correct. In GT6, I bought a '67 Corvette race car (C2) and panicked that it only had sequential mode. Which is funny as I would have been certain that this car would have used a regular H-pattern. I just checked my trusty RUF yellowbird, and the H-pattern is working fine.

Did you install a fully customizable transmission on it?

It happened it GT5 as well sometimes it would work fine and others it was paddles until I changed car. Strange, but random. I'm sure there's a thread or it's in the TH8RS shifter thread or the Basher board thread

I'm freaking out cause this just happened to me when I put a fully custom tranny in my spoon civic. But sure enough checked a stock car, and that N pops up and I can shift again... might a glitch with that tranny. Sorry if this is old news but people must know haha.

When you add fully custom transmission it has to be used in sequential. Its kind of good but yet you can still use racing tyres on a Daihatsu :/ . Im starting to get annoyed at GT's push in that respect yet theyre happy to add moon circuits etc.
