G25 technical problem

I dont know the problems, I hope that you all can enlight me with some of possibilities of problem.

My logitech G25 works perefctly fine, good calibration.

Problem is, in the middle of the game, i sometimes gets disconnected. The whole thing stop following my signal. The sterring, shifter, pedals, stopped suddenly. Wheel isnt giving any pressure or weight. It becomes like when its not on. Its not resseting, its just stop working while racing!

My probability is the usb cable's problem. Its rusty. Or probably my own ps3 usb problem.

Anyone wanna give me a hint?

But i want to make sure see anyone can figure out.
 
Sounds like a bad USB cable, if it was the power adaptor everything would still work except for the force feedback. Fortunately they're electrically quite easy to replace if you're careful but it does mean you need to dismantle the wheel. If I were in your position I probably would go ahead and replace the USB cable and see if the problem continues.

Which game is it? And which platform? PC or PS3?

Its ps3...

For let say, ur car spinning righth, ur wheel spins right, then eventually, u will want to pull backto left. Forcing to turn to the opposite of the steering will make the steering go offline. :(

If you haven't opened the wheel up before, probably isn't the USB. Could be that small optical encoder, which needs replacement with a brass unit so it doesn't lose signal while driving. Has the USB got any damages like tears, and stuff?

Its like when your driving, suddenly the steering goes offline. If i want the steering goes back on.. 2 option, replug usg, or quit the game. Once game quitted, it will come back. And yes, the cables has alot of tears, but all been ressolved
 
Same thing happens to me sometimes in online races playing f1 2013 (Its like a frozen screen) - I then unplug and replug in the usb and all is fine and still in the online race
