Hello

a couple weeks ago I noticed wheel misalignment, it normally starts off a few degrees off to the left then by the end of a gaming session it can be off as much as 10 degrees.

I didn't give much thought because I knew G25 would soon be supported by GT5 so I thought i'd try again after spec 2.0

So the problem still persists, I haven't tried testing with FFB/power steering simulattion mode.

Looking online the issues are mostly with PC, but I found on source that ended up opening the wheel up to fix. This is probably my last resort as I am out of warranty and dont have a lot of time to tink with it mechanicaly.

Anyone able to fix this without opening the wheel?

Also, I know Logitech gives out 50% off vouchers for loyal customers (I also own tons of Logi stuff) when they are out of warranty, anyone have experience with this on the G25/G27 RMA?

You could try a hammer? :dunce:

But seriously, you either have to tighten the screws or call the Logitech support to see what they can do for you. There is at least no magical wand that will be able to fix an issue like this as far as I can see as an IT guy.

^ yeah if it's a hardware problem then that makes sense. I am just curious if there's any settings/things to try before opening it up.

my wheel calibrates itself properly it seems on start-up on GT5 but I normally don't have it plugged it when my fire up my PS3.

I will see if doing both will make a difference....doubt it.

No, it will not cause if the unit is loose that is used to calibrate the wheel, and this unit shifts due too loose screws... then there is no way you can fix it with settings. Also in the PS3 and GT5 there aren't any settings that have anything to do with wheel calibration. Or deadzones for that matter.

Just open it up and use a bit of loctite so it stays secure. ;)
