G25 Wheel paddle shift problems??

Hi everybody,
Does anyone have this problem.....my paddle shifters is working in wheel settings, but is not working when racing......this happens

Left paddle shift gears up.....even though it set to shift down
Right shift paddle dont work at all


Anyone have a clue???

do you have a PC on which you could give it a try and sort out if its the wheel's shifters themself?


GT5 is by far the only game which works best with all the shifter modes of the G25 (manual, paddle, sequential)

even heel-to-toe works fine if you press "triangle" during the start countdown the gears won't change if you don't press the clutch.....which doesn't even work in GT-R Evolution


I'm not a GT5 or GT fanboy, just saying. on the downside I can't drift with that wheel, but also not in other games so I guess its just me not being good enough in video games (because tomorrow I'll be at the Nürburgring again, Grand Prix track is open)
 
My guess is that the upshift paddle is sticking, it happens to my DFGT occasionally and it stops working while switching downshift to upshift. I don't know enough about the G25 to help beyond this though, sorry.
 
Yeah check the settings on the manual shifter (black knob); needs to be correct position or will affect the paddle shifters
 
Before checking the replies I did find that the stick shifter is responsible.

I don't use it so I just mapped the stick shift to 'none' and the problem is gone.
