G25 without gear shifter

just seen a logitech g25 for sale with pedals but no gear shifter, will this wheel be ok to use on gt5 just using the wheel and pedals?

I know it'll work fine on pc, I don't know about on PS3 but I assume it would. You'll need to always have a DS3 as well for navigation though.

I wouldn't recommend buying it though, you may regret it later if you want to use the H-shifter.
