G27 ain't working

I've been using a G27 with GT5 for a while now, for the first time ever, I plugged the wheel into my PC instead and played a bit of rFactor after installing the drivers. Now when I try to use the wheel with the PS3, the rev counter lights all illuminate, the green light goes on halfway, and all the buttons and pedals work except the steering wheel. Help?

Check that it's plugged in. I forgot to plug it in once, and got the same problems.

Yup, even the buttons on the wheel are working

Yeah, everything on the wheel works if just the USB is plugged in, even when the power cord isn't. Beyond that, I have no idea what's wrong. Check the wire connections under the wheel maybe?

Make sure you don't have a controller operating as controller 1. If so try moving the wheel to USB port 2.

I remember reading somewhere that steering wheels should be plugged into either Port 1 or Port 3 -- I don't know why that is, but just thought I'd shoot that out there..
