G27 and E-brake?

I've been searching around but there are just soo many damn threads to look to.
From what I can deduce, you can't remap the G27 buttons with GT5+PS3...??? This correct?

I just got the game yesterday and trying to get familiar with it- I can’t believe I slept on it for so long.

Also, is there any advanced tweaking that is required (like in shift 2)? I only did a few license test and one arcade race.

Correct, You cannot remap the buttons unfortunately.

Regarding settings, I haven't changed anything & I find it just perfect!

Do you guys find that you miss the e-brake (Wheel users)? I used it sparingly when I would hit corners too hot (shift 2).


Any good advice for a new user?

Cant change buttons, sensitivity, or steerling lock. Sadly its pretty painful. There have been a number of posts lately about this dumb decision to not include options.

If you are coming from S2 you will not see the same customization for your wheels, pedals, or car tuning.

I don't miss the handbrake, besides, it's there, on the shifter, just in case of an emergency

Advice....hmmm, don't have the power cord connected when driving the X2010, you will be sore from all the movements in the wheel trying to go straight

On top of that, Enjoy!

Awe man, at least there is more to play with (b-spec and such). sigh...

LOL, I'm sure I am still far away from the X2010. I only upped a few levels yesterday...


Oh, is there a layout of the G27 button and functions that acutally do work (as in where the button for e-brake in on the shifter, wipers etc..)? I guess I could read through that while I sit here at work...hahaha
