G27 and Logitech Lap Attachment

I have a DFP which I use with the Logitech Lap Attachment and like very much. I want to get a second wheel to race with my friends and was thinking of buying a G27 and using a Lap Attachment with it. My game room is pretty small and all of the cockpits I've seen (except the RinoSeat which seems hard to come by) wouldn't fit in, and I don't have money lying around to buy a cockpit.

So, have any of you used a G27 with the Lap Attachment? Is it similar to using it with a DFP? Thanks for any help!

A BIG NO TO LAP ATTACHEMENT. Just buy the WheelStand Pro if you have no room.
