G27 collapsible stand help!

i found a wheel stand at this link but i have g27. So I wonder how can I add a part for shifter. it should be a little lower than wheel. Sorry for my English. Waiting for your advices.

thank you for your answer i think it is logical. But a collapsible one would be a better choice
