G27 Cracking Noise

Yeah, sounds a bit strange I know.

When I make quick turns with the G27, it makes a pronounced "cracking" sound. I cannot pinpoint exactly where it's coming from as it happens so quickly. Anyone have any information?

The wheel is 3 months old.

Has it only just started?, sometimes it happens for me when in a kart and i turn whilst driving over bumps.

No, it has always been there. It does not affect the wheel or drive at all. It's just mainly annoying when it happens, and you are correct the bumps do aggravate it.

I don't hear any noise when i turn hard with my g27 on a smooth road, there is clunking noise when i hit kerbs and bumps. if that's what you're hearing then it's normal.

The wheel is 3 months old.

Its nothing wrong. Its just the FFB motors hitting the rubber stoppers. It does no damage to the wheel.
