G27 gas pedal

I just got my G27 in the mail yesterday and I've been having a blast testing it out. But today I noticed something different about the gas pedal. When I press it down it's perfectly smooth until you get to the very end of the travel. There is a slight resistance just before the pedal hits the back of the base, and then after going past that tiny resistance it goes the rest of the way and hits the back.

Now this is literally the very tiny little last bit of travel on the pedal where the resistance is. The only time it's not noticable is when you press the pedal down fast and hard. The gauge showing throttle in the game is all the way up when you hit the resistance, the tiny little bit after doesn't give more throttle.

I could've sworn that yesterday when I pushed it with my hand and my feet in the game, the pedal travel was perfectly smooth the entire way all the way to the back. The brake and clutch do travel smoothly and consistant the entire travel, and it's just annoying me that this could happen one day after owning it.

Is anyone else's gas pedal like this? I want to know if this normal or not

Thanks.

Are you saying that you can never use full throttle? Send it back to Logitech and they'll replace it for free.

Sorry if I wasn't clearer, it's pretty hard to describe.

I can push the pedal all the way back, and it does reach full throttle no problem. It's just the feel at the end of the travel. Instead of it being one smooth consistent motion, the very end has a tiny bit of resistance. Kind of like a bump or a squishy feeling before reaching the end of the travel. I called logitech yesterday and they're sending me a replacement.
