If you just want to have sequential mode (like g25), you should install some springs as shown here :

Very cheap, effective and easy to go back to H pattern. The product you showed will certainly work very well, but if you want to go back it'll take much more time !

Thanks again, I've looked into the chillcoke video, I plan on doing that mod for the G27 when I get a more permanent station for my wheel, gear lever and pedals. Respect.

Saw this on another site when looking at mods. Seems like a cheap/easy way to do it. Considering I just bought my G27, I'll be waiting on it.

That obviously won't help with making it sequential though.

Forget the sequential, not really interested in that at all. As for what I'm after that's perfect, thank you so much! I wonder if anybody has done both these mods? Or would that be overkill? I love the simplicity of this mod.

I rented a Peugeot 207 on Monday to travel to London, the gear shift was non existent. It felt like it was held together with string, absolutely no resistance what so ever. The stock G27 lever without any of these mods felt more realistic.

I imagine a bit of rubber tubing on the rod itself might give a similar effect if you can't get hold of Velcro.

Haha! Imagine putting the other part of the Velcro around the rod so it sticks and makes the ripping sound every time you put it in and out of gear! Okay I'll stop now.

I did this last year, a very good mod that eliminates the annoying click when engaging gears. Has to be done very carefully though, because if the velcro doesn't stick perfectly to the sides it can be difficult to engage reverse gear.

Chilicoke's must be great to improve stiffness, i'll have to try one day. A cool little mod is to replace the knob with one from a real car, feeling is much improved 👍

It as a Puegeot :)

If you do this, let me know how it works for you. I'm thinking it would be nice to not accidentally shift into reverse when going for sixth.

I actually did that just to screw around with my friend when he played. It annoyed the hell out of him.
