Hi guys, after a few month without posting anything, here I go agian.

It is only me, or someone else is having the same trouble? I mean, I can use the H-Shifter of my G27 with almost all cars, but when I upgrade it with the Fully Customizable gearbox, I can only shift using the paddles (thing that I hate!!).

Is there any solution for this or it´s another bug or thig to be restored by PD?

Thanks and best regards!!

I think it switches to paddles by default, because you wouldn't be shifting or clutching in the same manner or pattern with a dog box. I've used dog boxes with dog leg shift patterns and it can't be done with the g27 h shifter. The pattern and motions aren't possible with the g27. It would be equally as unrealistic. I have a g27 as well.

A dog box does not use synchros. A dog leg pattern is up and over with 1st where 2nd would be.

OK, i understand what are you saying, but, I remember that I could use H-Shifter in GT5.

Right. But, I think they are trying to get rid of things like that. Better off having one unrealistic function than two. It's not a glitch or a forgotten feature. They're purposefully not including it, which I'm fine with, because it doesn't belong. The more of these things that they expel, the better.

Limiting options in a videogame isn't better for gameplay IMO. There are dozens of unrealistic things in the game, choosing this one to be accurate with when all it does is decrease enjoyment of the game, makes no sense.
Grid Autosport has the right idea IMO, for a console game. You have 4 options I believe.

1. Automatic
2. H-shifter with clutch
3. H-shifter no clutch
4. Manual sequential

The more options the better so long as no advantage is provided on the track.

In fact, using H-Shifter with manual clutch isn´t an advantage in online rancing, you may miss a shift will fighting online and you loose some speed.

That´s what I want, use H-Shifter with manual clutch in any car, nevermind the gear box is in it (of course, Formula GT or RedBull´s X, I shift them with paddels)

there's an H-shifter on the G27? I may need some wheel if so!

need semi-auto, too, to offer even more options.

It doesnt make any sense because you can use the H pattern on any premium car that doesnt have paddle shifters with the fully customisable transmission. However you cant use the H pattern with any standard ones. They shouldve atleast made it as an option. Though, Im pretty convinced they wont pay any attention to it since the horrendous clutch system hasnt been improved since GT5.

For you perhaps.

I think a better idea would be to give us the OPTION to use it or not.
