G27 issue

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my old G27, when I plug it into the PC nothing is happening. Peddals work's fine, Shifter also and even buttons on the wheel, but the rotation of the wheel is not recognized by the PC.
I have tryed repairing it with no luck. The optical module seem's to work fine, the same for the Optical Encoder wheel. I am out of ideeas.
Could you guys help me please?

Sorry for the dumb question but do you have the Power cord well connected?
It happens if the power isn't connected everything works except the wheel itself
 
I am thinking that the problem is on the mainboard of the wheel, but I cannot find a place from where to buy G27 spare parts.
 
does it work with ps3? have you tried restarting the pc? what os are you using?

unfortunately it's nearly impossible to buy spare parts for the wheels. Imo, logitech sees no point in making spares available to the public when they can get more money if you buy a new wheel. I need some spare parts for my g27 too :( my clamps broke
 
Logitech are totally useless for ANY parts, so your on your own for that.

I have repaired other wheels for folks but sourcing suitable components is a chore.
