G27 or fanatec GT3 RS for GT5?

Sorry if this thread is been discussed yet, but english is not my native languaje and i can´t find it.
i´ve a DF Pro, and after 8 years, is dead
T see the logitech g27 is not 100% compatible with GT5, problems with wheel buttoms, shifters, clutch etc...
I have no idea how fanatec gt3 RS work with GT5, its work at 100%? have issues?
G27 costs me 220€ and fanatec cost 210€ with regular pedals and no shifter (for the moment, i only use the paddles)
what could i do?

GT3 RS:
- Bigger wheel rim
- Better FFB (belt drive)
- In wheel tuning menu
- Feels better in hand
- Works better with GT5

G27:
- Better pedals (when compared to Fanatec standard pedals)
- Much better paddle shifters
- Cheaper

Clutch works perfectly on GT5 on both wheels.

The choice is up to you.
GT3 works better with GT5 and GT3 is a better wheel.

The g27 will serve you very very well. You get pedals that are way better than the standard fanatic pedals. You also get a 6 speed shifter along with it. They both arent compatible so they both have some problems with gt5

GT3 has tuning menu which means it works with GT5 as good as it's fully supported.
Also, if you're buying GT3 RS - you better get CSP edition because I heard that standard pedals are bad.
 
but the CSP pedals cost 100€ more than others...is much money, are standar pedals so bad? think i got a DF PRO, and i used his pedals for a long long time...and this is a toy pedals...
in a time, i could buy the CSP pedals, or G25/27 pedals too not?

Yea the tuning menu does make it better for gt5. IIRC The g27 pedals are compatible with an adapter and you can pick some up for way cheaper than CSP's. They are really good too
 
Both wheels are brilliant and both will suit you well.

G27 pedals are better than fanatec standard and (IMO) the fanatec wheel is better than the g27 wheel..

The G27 feels more "direct" and is quicker in response and the Fanatec is smoother but a little "heavier". It can be lightened up and made more responsice using some of the tuning functions.

Ultimately you would love either one and neither will let you down.

As a side note, I can confirm that Fanatec's customer service is much improved and i have had 2 very, very positive experiences of it very recently so don't let the horror stories completely cloud your judgement.
 
Good Question... for me i would choose the Fanatec... but you may actually want to wait for the new line of wheels...
However it depends what you drive most on GT5.
If you drive road cars get the GT3.
If you drive race cars like i do get either the G27 or the CSR. Shaun cole ISR prefers the CSR so maybe that is the wheel for you.

Well, Fanatec standard pedals are much better than DF Pro but they're plastic.
Get the GT3 RS, it's a much better wheel even with standard pedals.

Fanatec's customer service is great now so that's another plus to GT3's side.
 
it seems that I will buy the FANATEC gt3.
I found a good deal, GT3 RS v2 + G27 pedals + 6+1 shifter with aluminium cover for 200e
but it is an used item
how the RMA with FANATEC works? I need the bill?

You mean the warranty? I don't know for used items but I guess if the warranty is 2 years regardless of the owner.

Dang it I wish someone could just sell me a G25/G27 pedal set right now :indiff:
