So I snapped the clamps on my dfp last night and its currently held down by vice-grips. I can either wait for the gt3rs csr package for Christmas or I can grab a G27 tomorrow at Target around the corner from me for an insane price. I'm only worried about the pedals. On a scale of 1-10, how do the logitech pedals compare to the csr pedals? And just how small is the rim of the G27? I have some pretty damn big hands and need a good sized rim.

That question cant really be answered as of yet, since the CSR pedals arent shipping anywhere as of yet.

But I could tell you that the G27 pedals are quite superb. Not CSP superb but you know definitely WAY better then the standard pedals. But If I were and claiming that you have big hands, then I would go for the Fanatec option. Unless you take the Logitech path, you can always just get a Chilicoke or Derekspeare adapter to replace the wheel for an actual non-airbag racing wheel. But of course, shelling out more money...

I wouldnt mind doing the wheel replacement honestly. I was thinking about doing so either way. As far as the pedals, I was hoping someone with the CSR Elite's would be able to comment since those are basically CSR's with lingerie on.

Actually the CSR elites are much more than dressed up CSR. Despite the similar looks they have some big differences. The CSR elites are actually very similar to the CSP's with load cell brake and sturdy construction. The difference between the load cell brake and a standard brake is dramatic. I didn't realize just how much difference until I got my CSP's. The CSR pedals look like standard pedals with aluminum add ons to dress them up.

There's only one sitting there and it was $250 last time I saw it. I'm hoping the basically give it away tomorrow.

After watching ISR's review of the CSR pedals, they do seem better than the G27. Adjustability is key here, if you are not happy with the G27 pedals, theres not much you can do without buying new stuff, with the CSR's, you can adjust whatever you feel you need to, tension, pedal position etc. I would also say the GT3+CSR is better value for money as well.

At the end of the day it basically comes down to what features you're looking for or what features interest you. You can't make a wrong decision as both wheels work quite well for PC/PS3. I owned a G25 set prior to switching to a Fanatec PWTS and I enjoyed it quite a bit. However after owning both and knowing what I know now I would take the Fanatec all day everyday over the Logitech. That's not to say that the Logitech is grossly inferior because it's not but I really value the tunability of the Fanatec.......a feature that's invaluable to me as I can make the wheel behave exactly how I want it. I also prefer the larger rim and ergonomics of the Fanatec. I also much prefer the smoothness of the Fanatec thanks to the belt drive......I found the G25 a bit "ratchety". The Logitech owns the Fanatec for customizing though......you can put pretty much any aftermarket wheel you want on it and the paddle shifters are better too IMO.
