Ey guys, bought a g27 and its frustrating the hell out if me trying to drift with it, seems like it keeps trying to auto correct itself and wrenches the wheel out of my hands. Any 1 got any ideas? Do i need to learn how to use it? Am i doing sumthin wrong? Do i need to calibrate sumthing or select a certain option? On gt5 btw.

I imagine that the force feedback needs turning down a notch. Don't quote me on that because I don't own one but it seems like that could be your problem.

You simply have too much FFB for your skill level. Put it on 0 or 1, 0 will obviously be no resistance and 1 is very weak. Do this till you're used to it then ramp it up. It's difficult to learn how to drift with the wheel, so keep at it. 👍
I race and drift on 6 or 7 and I think it feels a lot like my car.

Have had the ffb set as 0 or 1. Guess i better keep working at it :) at least i know sumthin hasnt gone funny in the wheel.
Only thing is that it wants to correct the way the car goes all the time

I would first plug your wheel to your computer and by using the Logitech Gaming Software, check to see if your wheel responds correctly. If this is your first time drifting with a 900 degree wheel, it's going to be quite a journey my friend. Practice makes perfect. You should check out the GT5 Drifting forum. They have pretty good advice as far as tuning setups and practice tips. Also watch onboard drift videos especially with the G27 and observe everything (coming into the corner, weight transfer, acceleration, wheel turns, hand brake, etc....). Turn off ALL assists with the exception of ABS 1. This might tie into the auto-correcting issue you're having.

Good luck buddy!
