G27 resetting problem

I have had my g27 for about 2 months now, but every one in a while it will lose all FFB and steering control and then spin like you just plugged it in and go back to normal. This is very annoying because you almost always crash. Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it/prevent it?
 
Maybe the cables aren't fully plugged in?
But very impressive if you manage to keep the car from crashing sometimes!
 
Yeah, check all the plugs. Mine has been fine for the short time I've had it. No symptoms and play a ton.

My buddy that ordered the same time had this issue but it happened quite frequent. They RMA'd it and send him a new one. They said it was a defect.

I almost think it has to do with how it's mounted ....AKA if it's on an unstable type mount these problems occur more frequently.

What was/is your wheel mounted to? (Just to further my research =)

my G27 wheel is hard mounted to my cockpit and I get this problem....very annoying when racing.

I think it happens when the internals of wheel get hot.
 
Hmm, mounting is out then......heat, could be....hmmm.

Someone who has this problem more frequently put an external house fan pointing directly at it and test for us =)
