Hi guys hopefully someone know what's the problem/fix.

Well my g27 recently the reverse isn't working. It has been working fine for more than a year but know it's kinda damaged, when I put reverse (Push it down and put 6) it enters as 6 and to get it to put reverse I need to push it REALLY hard to it to get into reverse and I don't like that. Is there any fix for it? Do I need to disassembly it and clean it or something? I saw the disassembly and it doesn't look very easy.

Thanks!

I just had to fix this issue in my shifter. You will need to open it up. My wire got pinched somehow.
I spliced it back together, and took the time to solder in some wires for an ebrake as well.
Anyway, while its apart, get a little bottle of grease and give everything a good rub down, and check you "slot bolts" They are the allen head bolts on either side of the shifter, that holds the shifter to the left and right when in 1-2 or 5-6R. I've had my wheel a bit over a year and they are seeing quite a bit of wear.
The actual tear down isn't really that hard at all. a few screws and those clamps to take a part. The tricky part is unplugging the reverse wires andplugging them back in.

When you say "I have to push it really hard" do you mean push it down, or pull it back into 6th? The reverse switch is the push down. This tells the wheel that 6th gear is now reverse. If you have to push down hard, its likely the switch is smashed, or somehow come loose. if your pulling it back, then A, stop that, (and stop pushing down hard too!) and b, that will probably be thw wire, and pulling it back is shorting it makign it work again.

Well I need to push it down hard to it to get into six, before I just needed to push down and put it into 6 and its in reverse, now I have to push it hard for it to catch reverse, if I don't push hard but only push it down and put 6 it would enter like 6 gear when it is supposed to be reverse because it is in the slot of reverse.
Sorry if my english is poor. :(

I think you'll have to open your shifter up to have a look. There's a small button on the bottom of the gear stick shaft that is pressed when you push the stick down (i.e. down, not back as you would to put it into 2nd, 4th or 6th gear), maybe yours is loose or broken. I'd open the shifter up, check to see if the screws mounting the reverse switch are seated correctly and if they are, assume the switch itself is broken. Maybe some sort of padding between the stick and the switch would fix it so that you don't have to push down as hard, but the best thing to do would be to replace the switch either with a proper replacement or a DIY job with a microswitch or something hot glued into place.

I might be way off, but I can't see why else putting the stick into the correct physical position for reverse would put it into 6th instead of reverse.
