G27 Shifter always going Neutral?

I recently got a G27, and it seems that the shifter likes to throw the car in N a LOT! I've so much as pulled it back, and relocated it back into the gate for which ever gear, 3 or 4 times with it going into N each time! Does anybody else have this issue?
 
What I noticed is that you have to press the clutch all the way down and your feet off the accelerator 100% to avoid this.
 
Even when the clutch is fully depressed, shifting to 2nd (most noticeably in an NSX) will often get you into N if the engine is revving close to red-line.
 
It seems that whenever there is even the slightest amount of wheel spin, it will refuse to shift. Which makes it very annoying during stand still starts and drifting. I've stopped using my h-shifter during serious races and time trials because of this. I bought the wheel for the shifter, and I can't even trust the game to register shifts correctly. Please fix this, PD!
 
My csr does this too, like mentioned above I don't even bother using it when do serious races or online, which is a shame bcoz I've been loving using the H-shifter on fm4, it has a way better clutch model

Amen to that.. the whole reason I upgraded from a DFGT was the shifter..
