I am a G25 owner and a happy one at that, but I 'm leaning towards an upgrade and getting the G27.

For all you previous G25 owners that are now G27 owners, can you tell me if it is worth the upgrade or not?

or should I just stick with my G25?

If you like using paddles to change gears, don't do it.
If all you want is an update with more buttons on the wheel and want to change gears with an H pattern, then go for it.

BTW I don't own either.

I had to make the same decision recently too. Own a PWTS and G25 but in the end decided to modify the G25.

1x Fullsize Wheel - (look on ebay for 330-340cm)
1x Wheel Attachment / Chillicokes
1x JP Electrix Brake Mod

I think its money better spent giving a better upgrade as G27 wont really give you a major upgrade except the quieter gearing and the lights.

well my shifter is already modded but I'm yet to do the larger wheel and brake pedal mod.

The paddel shifters dont work with the G25 on GT5P anyway so I'm not missing out there.

Where can I buy the brake pedal mod?

I recently got a G27 (never owned a G25) and if I had my time again (especially if I already had a G25) I would wait until GT5 is released, see what packages come out, and see if Fanatec had managed to organise an Australian distributor (they are talking at the moment apparently).

I am very happy with the G27 btw, great step up on my old DFPro. Pedals were a bit noisy (very noisy) but that was easy to fix.

I bet he encourages you do mod your G25 :D

To be on topic, I really liked the G27 that I tried and I am considering to upgrade when GT5 is out.. 👍

Owned a G25 and used a G27. I do like the feel of the G27 shifter in H mode, but it's not a quantum leap. I like that the G27 has more buttons on the spokes, but I hate the placement and that they're so uniform. My favorite feature of the G27 is the pedals, and the way they're offset, but you could do something similar with kits for the G25.

I think hold on to your G25. And agree that you should take another look at what's out when GT5 is released.

I have a G25, but may eventually get a G27 (and another playseat too!); as the warranty on my G25 is only 2 years (I bought store insurance to add extra year to Logi Tech's one year warranty).

Yep, one other small detail you can adjust the pedal spacing by a little. I never owned a G25 So i Got the G27 and love it, its much quiter than the DFP I have.
