hey, I was wondering if I should get the clubsport pedals by fanatec because my standard pedals broke vs. just getting a g27 and using the g27 pedals for the fanatec wheel as well. I have a poll up for it.
Keep in mind the clubsport shifter is coming out soon and I already love the gt3rs

What so you would buy the g27 but only use the pedals?
 
Are you really comparing a full metalic construction with load cells VS a plastic toy with some metalic springs inside?
 
This wont be a very close vote...clubsports all the way.
 
no I would use the g27 in case the gt3rs broke. thats all more like a saftey plan not really cuz the the g27 pedals are that great clubsports kick the **** out of them but are they worth to 200usd?
I didn't realize that this was such a hot topic. I mean sorry if Im ignorant but I havent used them so How should I know how well they work?

No there not worth 200 USD. They are however worth 400 USD. In my opinion, the only pedals that compare are the CST's, and those cost like what, 500, 600 USD?

G27 pedals seem to be be well made as I've used nixim mod and now a load cell without any problems. Still since all you need are pedals I would go with the CSP. I think they are worth $200 and so far even a better value than Fanatec wheels. I would rather use G27 with CSP ( PC) than use GT3/2 with G27 pedals.
 
Yep the CSP are worth every penny.

what exactly happened to your standard pedals you might be able to fix them?
 
The brake pedal only works to 72% it only works with gt5 because I can turn abs and the brake pressure down so it works like 100 percent but in other games it a lot of work. Besides, I want something new.:)

This is not such a bad idea.

I'm in a racing league. Three (out of 32) have been using Fanatec, and they all have had problems with them from time to time. One guy bought both simulatainisly. He liked the GT3RS+clubsports better than the G27, and had the Fanatec hooked up to the PS3 where he played the most and the G27 to a PC. He from time to time had small issues with the fanatec wheel and also the pedals. After a while he had enough of the constant problems, and now he is using the G27 to the PS3.

I have a G27. When later purchasing a wheelstand Fanatec had an offer basically getting a Carrera for 80 Euro which I bought. The G27 pedals are a big step up to Fanatec's standard pedals. I never tried the clubsport pedals, but I'm sure they are a big step up from the G27 pedals.

I'm sure the clusport pedals are superb (as is the GT3RS), when they are working. But knowing the problems my racing friends have had with with their Fanatec equipment, having a backup solution is not a bad idea.

Tough call actually.

Yes! thank you for getting what I'm feeling here. The pedals have been my only problem so far. I have had the wheel since February 2011. no wheel or shifter problems yet
