G27 Wheel Question

Hey guys, so i bought the G27 wheel today at bestbuy as it was on sale for $250. reg price is ($300). anyways im super happy i finally got it and heres my problem. I test drove and went through all gears and when i hit 5-6 gear the car starts to get in a jerky motion and moves left to right and and right to left unless i slow down. this only happens when i go really fast on 5 or 6 gear. Im wondering if its the settings? i dont understand much about the steering settings like steering sensitivity, force feedback and others i forgot. also the steering wheel feels stiff at high speeds and when trying to turn. can you guys please help me get the settings right?

Try putting it on

SIMULATION
Power Asisted Steering OFF
Start with Force feedback at 5 and adjust where you like, I broke a DFGT from FFB at 10, I think it worked the wheel too much so I leave it at 5, ask others whats a decent setting for that as I run DFGT
 
The Simulation, Professional, and Amatuer modes are not for the G27 wheel. Those modes are only for the wheels that are high-lighted when that option is selected. It also states that in the scrolling text in that menu. The only options you have for the G27 is the FFB and the Power Assist. I ran my FFB at 6, but that is just a personal preference. Go with whatever feels best for you, that would be my advice.
 
You need to hold the wheel tightly.. simple as.
 
Yes, simple as. At high speeds, if you don't keep your hands on the wheel, it will wobble.
I'd say try force feedback at 5 and adjust from there if you want.
Also, at high speeds with a wheel you will naturally feel resistance when trying to turn. That's understeer.
Congratulations on the new wheel. You've entered a whole new world!
 
Force Feed Back: 10 is fine for drifting on the g27 Lower the Controller sensitivity to -2 or 0 is what I have found best I even use Sensitivity 7. 👍 Hope this helps

Controller sensitivity doesnt affect the wheel.

I drive with G27 & use FFB 10 & No power steering.

it does it alot to me best thing it grip it tight, its the car reacting to road weirdly. simple as that, also id use simulation on wheel settings

Like I said before, those settings do not work with the G27. Read the menu and the scrolling text.

Sorry, must be nobody paying attention to the Smart Alec, does that happen to you much? You say stuff but people go on as if you never said a word lololol 👍👍 Try a little less snark in your post, maybe people will pay attention to them ;)

Please, tell me where I was using "snark" in my post. In my first post, I was as polite as I could be. Even in my second post where I had to repeat myself, there was nothing wrong with the way I posted. Why don't you try hitting that report button and report me if you think there is a problem with the way I posted and let the staff decide if there is a problem. Not your job to police these forums there my friend and I don't need your advice. I can see that you still have an axe to grind with me from the other thread, you really need to let it go and move on.

I got no issues with your post, I think your a funny guy. a little on the edge of your seat, but that's kool. :D I don't know how to use the report button, it's the same as 911, I cant remember the phone number :dopey:

I have a feeling it does because, I can drift more then one car and they all don't work on controller sensitivity 7,But when I lower it to 0,They do, 0 is what people like jzx90 run's.
