G27's FFB Strength Dissapeared

So i was doing the seasonal events FF 430pp sports hard challenge, and i was going at it pretty hard, i was turing the wheel very fast (1.5 turns right then the exact opposite in less than 2 seconds). I had restarted 7 and 5 lap races several times. i noticed my g27 started getting hot but i didn't pay it much attention, on the last race, i was thrashing my little volvo s-60 when i heard a click / snapping voice emit from the wheel, suddenly i lost all relevant FFB strength. what happened?

I think you said it your self. Wheel over heated and shut down the motors.

How is it now you've let it cool down?

Well it should work after couple of hours of cooling. So please tell us how it went after you retested.
