G29 optimum rotation

I think the G29 comes with too many degrees of rotation. i know it can be adjusted but what would be the optimum. 600° would be more like an actual car but I'm unsure if this would work in a game? All or any help would be much appreciated...
 
You can adjust the rotation using the logitech software on a pc, however this does not transfer to Ps4.
 
The rotation automatically adjusts in GTSport depending on which car you use :)
 
So, you're stuck with standard on a pS4 and it feeling like a shopping trolley? Great.
 
I have a G29 and find it ok. Where exactly are you having a problem?
 
I've rarely had to turn the wheel more than 3/4's from centre in either direction. The only exception are some of the slower cars on really tight corners

I'm new to a wheel and find it weird it doesn't feel like an actual car. If I turned the wheel in my car as much as I have to on this game, I wouldn;'t make it out of my drive in one piece...
 
Slow FF cars around hairpins; that's when I have to turn my G29 the most. Even then it's like 220° at the most. The Gr3 and Gr4 cars are awesome with the wheel.

How long have you had your G29? And is it your first wheel?

Not long and yes it is. I suppose I need to get used to it not being like a car
 
Surely the whole point of issuing a wheel is that it's more like driving a real car. Can't you change the rotation directly on the wheel? I don't have a g29 but I know you could change the DOR on g25 just with a few button presses
 
First time you drive each car, look at the turning bar. Turn the wheel each way until the red dot gets to corresponding end. That is the limit. Any wheel turn past that point is not doing anything. It is very possible you are turning the wheel too far.

It took me a little while to figure out I was turning the wheel too far. You still will, but eventually you will just develop muscle memory on where to stop

I could be wrong. Just doesn't seem to have any affect after turning past that point to me.

Got my G29 late last year and was getting frustrated beyond the sky because I could barely make it through turn 1 of Nurburgring 24H, multiple cars blowing past me. I was racing with the thought that the red dot represented maximum lock. But then I tried to keep turning the wheel and was able to make the corner with ease! Same goes for the other first gear corners!

Hmm, Well I stand corrected. Always seems to me the wheel turns past the full lock for the car. Don't get me wrong, I turn the wheel past the bar on screen. But it seems there is a point where wheel keeps turning past lock.

I just checked a car. The full lock was 180 degrees. The red dot stopped at 90 degrees. So I was wrong. But, you can turn the wheel too far... which was my main point
