G29 upshift issues

Hi all,

My brother has bought a G29 and said for the first 30 minutes it was ok, but started not registering an upshift and it’s getting worse and worse. It’s brand new.

I suggested updated firmware but apparently you don’t do that on G29?

Any help is appreciated!

That’s what I suggested he’ll end up doing but thought I’d check for any known issues/fixes first

Do you have the stick shifter also if so make sure it isn't in a gear as this would keep the paddle shifter from working correct. Check to make sure it didn't get remapped .

He’s checked that, said it was plugged in but not in gear, I think it’s a poor connection that isn’t being helped by heat and vibration since it worked and now it doesn’t.

Ive told him to send it back rather than tamper with it, thanks
