I've recently been thinking of running a cup for Japanese cars at roughly JGTC/Super GT level. However, this doesn't mean the cars will be limited to just those. A handful of other cars will be available that are on par with these cars will also be available for the cup. Also, while Super GT cars have proven to be sources of some superb online events before, I feel the standard JGTC cars from GT4 have been left out. Every single JGTC car (except the Diablo) has been included in this, as well as every Super GT except for the GT-R cars, in addition to the aforementioned exclusive cars that aren't JGTC or Super GT.

Planned schedule: (Race dates unconfirmed until later)

1. Autodromo Nazionale Monza - 34 laps
2. Trial Mountain Circuit - 50 laps
3. Nurburgring GP/F - 39 laps
4. Tokyo R246 - 39 laps
5. Laguna Seca Raceway - 55 laps
6. Circuito de Madrid - 59 laps
7. The Top Gear Test Track - 71 laps
8. Suzuka Circuit - 34 laps

I might also do an All-Stars Race like the current Super GT based on created tracks after the season has finished.

Suggestions for the schedule are welcome, but keep it sensible.

All cars would be limited to Racing: Hards. SRF, Active Steering and ASM would be disallowed.

I think you should just do a classic JGTC series just using the pre-2004 cars. I'd even be willing to help you. That list is loooong.

That is a good idea, but I've put in other cars that are easier to get in a pinch (Premiums) and also to try and widen out the field more. Besides which I've adjusted the power so their PWR is identical (which means that the JGTC/Super GTs should be pretty much even).

Looks like a sound basis for a cup, not sure how the Top Gear track would work being a figure 8.

To be honest, TGTT is a bit ambitious but if the racing manages to stay equal enough then hopefully the problem won't develop. I probably should set that to the Bonus Race and set a custom track in its place instead. I'm sure it would work out better.

Well what do you think of the times I've set for the poll? Bearing in mind they're not how long the race actually lasts, that would be stupid. They're just the times I'm available to race in.

To be blunt, I think you'll be hard pressed for any weekday start times before 7pm due to people working. Weekends is another matter... anything goes providing it doesn't interfere with the Formula 1 Quali and races

Indeed that is the case. And post F1 times would usually be 1600 UTC and onwards, which is good for me.
