I don't like it. They should have taken the opportunity to style the car in the direction of the Mark IV GT40 instead, in my opinion.

I wonder how Ford feels about this?

What i'm wondering is how the Galpin had so little press coverage before now. I know ive seen the design a while back but i've never heard of anyone doing something with it until now.

Not good for a million dollar-plus supercar.

That being said, i think it looks pretty good but the rear end is a bit ungainly from certain angles. There doesn't appear to be anything unique about the car either, i believe they took too much from the Ford GT to prevent any customers from ordering up a 1000+ hp GT from Hennessey or Heffner instead for a fraction of the cost.

I agree with Eunos, I think if anything they should have gone back to MKIV styling.

Yeah, I think this thing is ugly and boring in the styling department. I'm reserving judgement on the driving experience, though.

Ford GT with a different body & one of the 1,000Hp kits strapped on. Sad 24 Ford GTs are being asked to be chopped up for this overpriced monstrosity. All the "vision of the modern day Ford GT" really just looks like Galpin looked at the Cobra & GR-1 Concepts and applied the base of those designs to the GT.

This car could have been so much more too. So many directions to go in, and they chose this one. *shakes head*

👍
Even name is the same as the the GR-1 concept car, they just added the "T".

Galpin are showing a lot of guts by trying to throw their hat into this tiny niche. If they dropped the stripes and went away from the random GT design cues it would probably look ok i guess.

All things aside, I just think sacrificing so many of an already rare classic to put another ugly and overpriced super car on the market is borderline criminal.
