I was in a Group 3 race at Northern Isle today when some serious issues arose. Some guy, who was 3rd on the grid, was listed in first place from before the green flag until the checkered flag. I don't believe he ever even led a lap, yet he was credited with leading every lap, the fastest lap (which was in the 11s range - faster than a Gr1 car), and the win. It appears that the game credited him with one extremely fast lap before the green flag even dropped, so he was considered a lap up for the entire race, and even more odd, the race ended as soon as he crossed the finish line, rather than give some time after for the rest of the drivers to finish. Everyone else finished at +1 laps - my true result was 2nd but I received 3rd and the leader received 2nd place. I saved the video clip and the replay and I will have to figure out how to report this game-shattering bug/exploit. Has anyone else experienced this?
 
I was in a gr3 race today where the fastest lap was in the 11s range, but that guy didn't win the race i don't think, but only a couple ppl were +1 lap
 
Oh this happened with me as well. The guy at number 3 was credited with fastest lap around 11secs odd + 1 lap ahead so he was automatically placed 1st. I think it may have happened in another race but I was way down the grid for this one so I wasnt paying attention to what was happening up front till I noticed the fastest time was 11 secs again and we all finished 1 lap behind. Both times it was the Gr3.
 
Happened in every GR.3 Northern Isle Race I was in. Reported it in the bug thread.
 
So just happened to me. Check this out so how you get that time on first lap when the best qual times aren't event that here's the too 10 qual times also

I think the grid start position has got something to do with it. If you notice the car in grid position 3 is always just behind the start line while 1 and 2 are ahead of the start line. So by some weird logic the game thinks grid position 3 is grid position 1. Also notice when the auto drive goes off grid position 3 is exactly where you'd probably have clocked about 3 secs in a lap. So some reason it's not counting those 3 secs in the first lap and so you'd end up with about 11 secs? Just trying to make sense of it. :p
 
Was just doing one of the 3 daily races. Not sure on the name of the track but it's the large oval. Spent 45 minutes qualifying to get a lap time of 13.700 seconds. Started the race in pole position, led for 18 laps then screen flickered and said I was in 2nd place 10 seconds behind the leader. Finished the race and the lap record was done by the person who supposedly won with a lap time of 11 seconds. So somehow his lap count screwed up and rather than him be 2 seconds behind me on track, it counted him as being 10 seconds in front of me. Wtf? Gutted as would have been my first win. :indiff: no way did he do an 11 second lap, the top 10 times state number 1 at 13.582 seconds. So annoyed right now. This needs fixinf asap as at the moment, its literally pointless qualifying. And on top of that, if this game is "FIA" approved, how can we be sure it wont happen in the official online calendar races? Deeming the whole series pointless. With it happening to so many people, this must be a huge bug.
 
Had a race yesterday where I came in 4th and a lap down from 1st, 2nd & 3rd. Weirdly, I could only see 1st ahead of me. There was also almost no way I was lapped by 1st as the time gaps were too narrow across a 20 lap race. Very strange...
 
I just went through that as well. He glitched and got a 1:20 advantage right away...But I catch the guy. He rammed me on the last chicane and got a 9 sec penalty so I won and he finished 4th. These people should be banned. One thing is using a glitch offline, another is to go online and ruin other people's fun. And they're usually slow and suck so I don't get the idea.

EDIT: Lol I can't stop laughing because everyone glitched in GT5 & GT6 and now GTS LOL!!!

Btw, I hope PD fixes all of those exploits. Even in Arcade!
People these days just don't have the patience anymore...everything needs to be gifted to them without any effort. Go and earn your credits like everyone else, BY RACING! and actual work!

I have no interest in glitching a race on line, or in the credits that come with glitching arcade.

But do you realise how long it takes to get to level 50 playing 'straight'?

You need c.2 million exp points to get from lvl 40 to lvl 50... that's the equivalent of running >50x Blue Moon 24 hour endurance races in a N300 car vs a grp1 opponent. If you play the game 'normally' for a couple of years you might eventually get to lvl 50 and unlock the Platinum trophy.

So in your opinion people that dont "suck" are not going to use that exploit ever (even 1 time just for "fun" or to check if it actually works in every track -for example-)?
Plus its a game and not a job.You will not make money playing GTS.On the other hand you spend money to play the game and have fun.
And these kind of exploits ruins the fun for people that dont use them.
But if you want my honest opinion if people could somehow make money out of this game,propably a lot of them would use every single exploit there is.It is happening in every e-sports/mm game that add money to their pocket(one way or another): people try to find these kind of exploits because winning=money.And there are many cases of those people getting a perm ban because they did that.

Platinum trophy and DR bragging rights.

Edit: We’ll have to stay away from sport mode if we don’t want to lose our DR. I worked so hard to get my A. I don’t want losers to take it away from me. If I lose it, I want it to happen the right way.
 
Anyone doing this in an online race should be banned, permanently. They know full well it's cheating and it's spoiling the game for many other players.

I don't care if they do it offline, especially with how it'll take years to get to level 50 if you try to get there through normal play.
 
It's same as money glitching in GTA Online everyone did it and if PD was to ban everyone doing would only have a hand full of people left playing GT Sport lol
