Game code (BCES) means europe?

hi,

i just found out that my copy of GT5 has the code BCES

this code means its from Europe, correct?


and just for confirmation, if i buy the DLC from a UK store, will the DLC work on any other account with different region?

on the same ps3 of course.

Is DLC region locked?
Yes, it is. That is, if for example you buy DLC on a European PSN account, you cannot use it on your American copy of the game.

ok i know about that, but what i meant is if i bought the DLC from UK store for my BCES copy, do I have to use the ONLY UK accounts to play the DLC?

there's no way i could use it on my UAE or any other account on the same PS3?

Yes - but only if you download the "GT5 Family Pack" from the PSN Store. If you download this, and install it into GT5 via the "Downloadable Content" icon, you'll be able to access DLC across all PSN's on that console.
 
With the Family Upgrade, I think you can use the DLC on any account that uses the same disc to play the game, as the account that it was downloaded for. I'm not 100% on that though. Someone else will come by and clarify that for you, I'm sure. 👍
 
Yes, I can confirm:
I have a EU main PSN account (Fr) and a JPN secondary PSN account (that I have created years ago when the first GT4 JPN demo version was available) and now I play on an EU (FR) GT5 PAL version with both;
I have bye all the DLC from beginning and all are available in my JPN account :)

I think the Family upgrade is for using it on different PS3s without buying the DLC again.
