Game crashed, need help!

Ok, so I've been making a unique livery for 4 hours. I was literally 1 decal away from completion when the game crashed. My screen is stuck and I can't operate X or O. Every other function works. I can move the car, zoom in or out, operate skew etc, but no X or O function. How can I get out of this without losing 4 hours of work created from my mind? If it was a replica I could maybe deal with it as I would have a reference to go from. Please tell me there's a way out without losing all my hard work?!
 
Take a pic with your phone and show it here. We can then tell you it looks ace. That might make you feel better.
 
Had the same, game crashed and 1h of work gone.

Lesson learnt: save stuff from time to time while working on it ;)
